RentalTec history

RentalTec’s journey began with the visionary collaboration of two seasoned entrepreneurs within the test & measurement market. David Saeys and Oliver Lanz, each boasting over three decades worth of experience. Spring of 2018 marked the inception of the name “RentalTec”. By July of the same year, the company was officially established in both Belgium as RentalTec NV and Germany as RentalTec GmbH.

In the span of just seven years, RentalTec underwent exponential growth, expanding nearly twentyfold. This took place in conjunction with esteemed partners such as EXFO, VIAVI, Rohde & Schwarz, Rosenberger, Jetting, Keysight, and TRS Rentelco. This rapid ascent transformed RentalTec into a prominent player within the European telecom test and installation market. Presently, RentalTec operates from strategically positioned locations in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, and Germany.

Today, RentalTec boasts a state-of-the-art laboratory facility, where a dedicated team of 15 highly skilled technicians diligently work on servicing and calibrating the extensive RentalTec fleet. This fleet encompasses a wide array of telecom and test & measurement equipment. Whatever your testing and measurement needs may be, RentalTec is equipped to fulfil them.

As part of RentalTec’s expansion and to ensure that we are future-proofed to meet both our customers and industry’s needs, a new site has been identified. We anticipate that we will be able to confirm our new location in late spring, early summer 2025.
