These improvements come with higher demand on test equipment, such as more bandwidth (BW) and better distance accuracy. The E8719A improves over previous generations of radar target simulators (RTS) with a full 5 GHz of instantaneous BW, no separation or shifting of available BW within the usable ranges, and just one setting.
